When kids don't want their picture taken...

First of all, thank you for all the support!  I am thrilled with everyone's comments, 'likes', and shares.  It means so much to me.  I hope you will continue to follow this journey and share it with your friends and family.

Monday we happened to be at a new-to-me trail in the Greenwood area.  I coach a run club for local homeschool families and we meet at various trails in the Valley 1-2 times per week.   I had no idea how beautiful it was going to be.  It was a very well groomed trail through a nice forest.  The best part was that it was right alongside the Annapolis River.  The view out over the river was amazing.  So naturally as we ran along I was already picking the best photo opportunities for after Run Club.

I was excited to take some pictures of my kids- Teghan and Braegha.  But after running/walking over 2.5k each, and visiting with their Grandparents who had come to watch, they were in no mood to have their pictures taken.  Teghan just wandered away saying "No pictures, no way.  Can we go now?".  Braegha had decided that since it was a whole 7 degrees out and sunny she should wear a tank top and shorts to Run Club.  She proceeded to sit in a ball on the trail and whine that she was too cold for pictures.

But I really wanted to see how the river would look with nice subjects in the front and the river behind.  Then I realized I was stuck carrying their stuffed owls, why not put them to good use?  So 'Snuggle Owl' and 'Wally' ended up being very cooperative subjects and I just had to listen to Braegha worry that the owls would fall in the river.

Snuggle and Wally were very pleased with the results of their photo shoot and are looking forward to having their own copies of the photos!

Thanks for checking in on our adventures, please share with your friends and family and 'Like' my Facebook Page.  I'm looking forward to working with some amazing families in May, let me know if you would like to be one of them!
